Description of the theft
I went to work at a new location and hurriedly tied it up to a Tow-Away signpost on the sidewalk at 10:30am.
I wasn't able to check on it until around 6:00pm, where I found the cable cut, the actual U-lock undamaged and still locked with my helmet. The bike: gone. (Including the attached battery.)
