Between 12 AM and 1:30 PM March 27 bicycle was stolen. Bicycle was
secured to the front porch fence using a one inch thick Kryptonite
brand cable that was attached to a Kryptonite New York model
U-Lock. The U-Lock was locked through the rear wheel spokes and
rear triangle of the bicycle frame. Assuming the flexible cable was cut
then the entire bicycle and broken cable were taken together. New
front and rear lights were also attached to the bicycle. A silver
Motobecane CXX cyclocross bike that has hand-made Velocity Dyad
wheels built at Velo Cult here in Portland. It also has Bike Gallery
brand handlebar hole inserts. Unfortunately I cannot locate the serial
number for the bicycle, but can definitely identify the bicycle in
person.
