Description of the theft
I entered Canterbury Records about 7:50 p.m. to shop.
When I took my purchase to the checkout about 8:15 pm
I looked up and saw that my bike was no longer chained
to the light post outside. All that was left was the
cable which had been chopped in half very cleanly.
As the bike was visible from most places in the store,
the theft would have to have occurred very quickly
and quietly. Combined with the clean cut of the cable,
these facts suggest professionals who work quickly.
