Description of the theft
Went to the rooftop parking area of Vons Grocery store and locked the bike to a 5" thick steel rail that divided the waiting area for the elevators and the parking lot. High foot traffic and a security camera focused on the exact spot where the bike was parked. Shopped for 30 minutes, and when I came back, there was no sign of the bike or lock. Manager said they caught it on video, but, per policy, she wouldn't let me see it. Only the police can be granted access.
