Description of the theft
Bike was parked in the back yard and a swinging wooden side gate was left unlocked by accident from
contractors/construction happening at the house on that Saturday, 9/30. On Sunday morning, Oct 1 around 9am, we noticed
the side gate ajar and the bike gone. Our Contractor noted the house/backyard was likely targeted because the work trucks
and activity had been present the day before and thieves likely looking for tools /construction equipment stored temporarily in
the back yard.
Nothing else was taken or disturbed. Nothing had been heard in the night so we don't know what time the theft occurred.
We have pictures of the bike and accessories as well as receipts. Bike was purchased at REI in 2017
