Bicycle detail

Bicycle parked outside entrance to right of Denny's restaurant after 1am at pole near where staffperson was having a smoke break and my noticing that he noticed my bike lock wasn't great. I sat at a table for tea and to read late night and at 4am the same staffperson coming back in from another smoke break approached me to say my bike was gone. Cable lock cut and left in the grass and thermos that was in the water bottle cage a few hundred feet away in the street. I had just changed the bike seat (bontrager) and height/position because I am tall w/ 35" inseam likely wouldn't have allowed who stole my bike to ride my bike away from the restaurant. I had also just rotated the tires (Panaracer Pasela Protite) and new rear wheel w/ extra spoking that is less than a year old.
