Description of the theft
Stolen 2014-06-14 7:40am, Twelve Oaks neighborhood near Chandler and Rural.
Scattante R650, silver with black trim and red Shimano pedals.
Garage was up and my son and I were about to depart for his soccer practice. We opened the inner door to leave and the thief was just grabbing the bike and running out. I tried to chase on foot but he was able to jump on the bike and accelerate away. I ran back to give chase in my car but by the time I got started he had turned a corner and I lost him.
Chandler PD did attempt to search the area but with no success.
