Bicycle detail

On the morning of August 15th 2023 I went to the Westmount Tim Hortons for coffee around 5:40am. I brought my bike inside but left it between the doors so it wasn't all way in the shop or outside of it. I ended up passing out from A night out for my birthday. I remembered seeing a male with a bmx that he had left outside and he got a coffee and he had left the shop but I don't recall seeing him grabbing my bike right away I think he left but turned around and grabbed my bike and he left his behind. I had woken up and remembered that someone had taken my bike. First I thought I had dreamed it but it in fact was reality. I went outside and walked all around the outside of the mall looking for my bike. No luck I went back to Tim Hortons and thought about how I could of let it happen as I seen it happening. In turn I grab buddy's bike after I sat in the parking lot for a hour or so hoping buddy would return for that bike. Later that day I found out that the bike he left behind was stolen from another person which I was happy to return it to the owner. Of course he had to verify it was his.
