Bicycle detail

I left my bike locked up to a lamp post close to the "LEVITON" entrance at 334 Carondelet Street, (at Perdido Street), on March 11th. A thunderstorm hit and I left the bike there for two days, and when I returned it was gone. There were construction cones and tape on the sidewalk there, and the building management told me it was city construction, so I contacted the NOLA Public Works Department. Of course I haven't gotten anywhere with them. Please help!
