Description of the theft
Bike (which had a large chain locked on it) was locked to a large metal bracket that was attached to my apartment building, within a secured garage. The thief couldn't break my lock, so instead broke the metal post the bike was locked to and carried the bike out of the building. It is unknown how the person gained access to the building.
