Description of the theft
On the evening of Friday, November 24, 2023, around 6 PM I left my apartment building, and went to my
grandparents house for Thanksgiving dinner, the bicycle was on my roof, as I was in the process of moving from one
apartment into the Idlewild one, and had not gotten the bike up yet. It was locked to the roof rack with a cable lock that is
lashed to the roof rack. When we returned from dinner some hours later the bike was still there around 8 PM, we then walked
the dog, and went to sleep. In the morning I went down to my car to retrieve my bike and the lock had been cut, and the bike
was gone.
It is worth noting the apartment complex we live in is gated, and a key, a code or a clicker is required for entry.
