Description of the theft
w Specialized Sirrus Elite (serial# WSBC6020596071) was
stolen from my apartment building garage. My bike was fully locked up
with a Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 U-Lock and a cable (same make and
model). The u-lock was locked around the bike frame and the cable
secured the back wheel, front wheel, and seatpost. The cable was
secured through the u-lock. The u-lock was secured to a post. The thief
cut through the u-lock and cable with cutting pliers (brand name is Ideal).
The thief left the cutting pliers.
