Description of the theft
Around 5:30pm PT on August 13th, 2024 my Trek Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 (2023 model, black/olive official color, looks more like dark green) was stolen in the Culver center (3802 Culver Center), where the bike racks are in between the Rite aid and Hand & Stone: Massage and Facial Spa. One of the employees in rite aid said he saw the person who stole it and described him as Mexican, short, with a white tank top or sleeveless shirt. The employee said he used an electric saw to cut off the u-lock within a minute and left with it.
Added features to my bike were a bontrager kickstand and pedals, bottle holder, a mount for a portable air pump, and a phone mount attached.
