Description of the theft
Bike was put onto bike rack outside of East Lansing High School but not locked - chain lock remained locked around post of handlebar. Bike was ridden to the East Lansing High School the morning of 10/15/24 and placed on the double length bike rack outside of Door 8 at ELHS, next to the faculty parking lot. The chain lock was left on the handlebars of the bike but the bike was not locked. Helmet was also left on handlebars. At dismissal time (14:35), the bike was no longer on the rack.
