Description of the theft
The bike was on our homes front porch behind the privacy bushes on this past Friday, December 15, 2023. Husband came home after 14 hr shift, and went in the house
It was taken by an African American Male with a black onesie sweatsuit / hoodie on, however you can see his entire face. He got out of a blue or grey Kia and the driver stayed in the car until he road off with the bike and then followed him. The camera was too blurry to get the license plate.
We have the entire video posted on Nextdoor. One neighbor who is an armed security guard said they saw the guy on Vermont & Manchester around 3:30 pm day before yesterday he noticed because it was not normal to see that type of bike around there. The bike was not locked because he had every intention of going back out and putting it away in its normal secure location, but it had the lock around the base of the seat. The thief has no keys or battery charger to juice it up.
