Description of the theft
I work at TATE MODERN, 53 BANKSIDE, and LONDON, SE1 9TG on evening shift and I
usually park my bike in the bike cage which is the property of the building. The cage door is
usually locked and I lock my bike using a bike lock. On TUESDAY 20th AUGUST 2024 I
parked my bike at the garage around 1745hrs and finished my shift around 2200hrs and
when I got back to the bike garage around 2205hrs I realised that my bike was missing and it
was not in the place I locked it. I looked around and couldn’t find it so I ran straight back into
the building and informed the security. They reviewed the footage and informed me that the
bike was stolen around 1820hrs and I was advised to inform police.
