Description of the theft
Heard the bike lock chain clattering against the bike when it was cut at 5 am but didn't go outside to investigate, still half asleep. Neighbors saw someone riding away on it in the alley behind our apartment at 5:15 am but thought it was me. Security camera wires had been cut. Confronted unhoused man that lives in alley behind apartment where the helmet was found and he claimed not to have seen it and may have assisted in the theft.
