Bicycle detail

On the afternoon of Saturday July 13th, I completed a bike ride on Maxella Avenue , near the corner of Maxella and Glencoe,at 12:35pm on the south side of the street. Unfortunately I had to head home in a quick rush to attend to a health matter withmy dog, which required some urgency. I used my Specialized brand bike lock, which was affixed to the main body of the bikeunder the sight, and safely locked the bike to the nearest street sign and took an Uber fast home to deal with the matter.Unfortunately, I was unable to get back to that location to retrieve the bicycle until the following day, when I discovered justafter noon on Sunday the 14th it was no longer safely locked where I had left it. The street sign showed no signs of damage.If it was a violation to attach my bike to that particular street sign, I was unaware and will happily pay any fine necessary. Ipray the bike was either reported rather than stolen.
