Description of the theft
Left for a few hours - bike was locked on our deck. Came back and the contents of the milk crate, along with bungee cords, were dumped on the porch and in our alley, but the bike and all other accessories (headlight, back blinkers, milk crate) were gone.
They weren't able to get my fiance's bike, which was U-locked to the window bars, nor the neighbor's (also u-locked to their window). Someone had to be creeping on our decks to find it, because you can't see the landing where the bike was from anywhere on or near the property (it's tucked away).
Bike is a smaller blue 1985 Ross with aqua tape, all new derailers and cables, Bontrager tires. We live right near the Fireside Bowl and the Fullerton/Washtenaw intersection.
