Description of the theft
I commute with a vanpool on MWF to Salem, leaving at 6:35 am from SE 39th + SE POwell. I have been locking my bike in different places around the crossroads for the last couple of weeks. I normally have two locks but yesterday morning had forgotten one at home. The bike was attached to the bus stop post on the NW corner of Powell + Cesar Chavez. It wasn't there when I came back at 6pm. The bike's front wheeel, frame, and post were locked together with a sturdy U shaped type lock that works with a key.
Unfortunately, I have never taken the time to register my bike since I bought it at the end of 2014. It still had the 'register me' sticker on it.
I recently moved, am still unpacking boxes, and cannot find the bike's instructions manual, which I assume might have its serial number on it.
